- Handle your card as you handle your cash. When paying with your card in a shop, do not let it out of sight.
- Sign your new card as soon as you receive it and check all details printed on it.
- Check your card periodically to make sure it is not missing. In case of theft, loss or fraud suspicion, call immediately on +420 272 771 111 (Muzo Autorisation Centre) or contact your Account Manager. Also confirm every phone contact in writing to any branch of LBBW Bank CZ a.s.
- Memorize your PIN and never disclose it to anybody. Do not write your PIN on the card, do not disclose it to your family members, bank's employees, and etc.
- Make sure that no one is watching you entering your PIN.
- When withdrawing money from ATM, always check that no one is standing near you watching you (PIN entering, the amount of cash you want to withdraw). Do not allow anybody to disturb you (even though the person will introduce himself as a technician or an employee of the bank).
- In case your card has been swallowed by ATM and you have not received a ATM statement about this action, block your card precautionary.
- When paying in a shop and using electronic cash desk terminal, always insist on receiving a receipt of the transaction and never sign incomplete receipts. Check the total sum on the receipt.
- Keep you card separately from cash and your identity documents.
- Do not lend your card to anybody!
- Check your card transactions statement periodically. In case something is unclear, contact your bank immediately.
- Destroy and dispose of copies of receipts, airline tickets, travel itineraries, anything that displays your card numbers.
