Maestro is an international electronic chip debit card that allows making cashfree payment for goods and services in outlets equipped with an electronic terminal and withdrawing cash from bank machines. The card includes basic cash insurace in case of assault.
Maestro Card Features
- payment transactions can be completed at all outlets displaying the Maestro logo in the Czech Republic and abroad
- cash withdrawals can be made from any bank machine in the Czech Republic for only CZK 6.50
- the cardholder may apply for the issue of additional cards for persons that do not hold account disposition rights
- the weekly limit is set based on the average account balance; if more than one card is issued for a single account, the required average balance is higher
- the card includes basic cash insurace in case of assault up to CZK 5.000
- Maestro cards are issued for a three-year period and are automatically renewed after expiration
