LBBW Bank with presentation at German school

24. 5. 2010

LBBW Bank CZ prepared for students of the German school, in the frame of its support of education of children, a presentation on the financial and economic crisis, its history, development and effects.

Christian Adolf, Relationship Manager from the Corporate Banking Division of LBBW Bank CZ, prepared an interesting presentation where he clearly explained the complex area of development and effects of economic meltdown also in historical context, domino effect, costs for bank refinancing including state aid and possible solutions and lessons learnt. The seminar was held in German - the mother language of the speaker and the main school language. All twenty students had a lively discussion on this topic.

„We have been cooperating with LBBW Bank CZ for a couple of years and we do appreciate not only its financial contribution but mainly also these non financial activities. Those activities not only help our students to extend their knowledge and are a nice diversification of education for them, but mainly bring the students closer to the real experience and support their interest in this area,” added Jitka Špetová, Managing Director of German school in Prague.

“I was very pleasantly surprised by the level of knowledge of students and their interest in further discussion. I appreciate their genuine interest in the world of finance and investment, which is still unknown for a vast number of adults,” Mr. Adolf commented the discussion with students.
